The Bambu Inn Hotel is located 20 minutes from Salento, this area of Colombia is characterized by its coffee farms, the typical colonial architecture of its infrastructure, and for being known as the gateway to the Cocora Valley.

This striking colorful little town is located in the department of Quindío on the road that joins Armenia with Pereira; surrounded by the exuberant nature of Los Nevados National Natural Park and the Cocora Valley.

What most characterizes this beautiful place is being part of the coffee growing region of Colombia. Also, it is known for being the cradle of wax palms, being the national symbol of Colombia. It is without a doubt one of the wonders that you have to know.

The Cocora Valley located in the central mountain range of the Colombian Andes in the heart of the coffee growing region is one of the most special places in Colombia. In this place grows the Palma de Cera del Quindío, the national tree of Colombia. The landscapes offered by this enclave are truly unique. This tree can reach 60 meters in height and only grows at an altitude of between 1,500 and 3,000 meters above sea level. It is very curious to see “palm trees”, more typical of coastal areas, at this point. The landscape of the very green valley with the wax palms rising so high is one of the images that has stuck with me the most from my trip to Colombia.

20 MINUTES FROM THE MAIN PARK OF SALENTO, WITHOUT TRANCÓN, 12 KM.
